CDC Success Rates

This is the most recent data from the CDC. The CDC cautions that it should not be used to compare doctors and clinics.

For more information please see our FAQs.

Where you see a “?” on the chart, a clinic has done fewer than 20 cycles in this category and age range, so the CDC says showing percentages from this small data set would be misleading and unreliable.

Dr. Behera was very caring and friendly. She really showed that she cared and developed a relationship with my spouse and me...Through the course of my treatment, I only saw the doctor a few times. She built a relationship in those few visits and instilled a lot of confidence...Know that she is very busy and will not be the one performing most of the procedures... Getting an appointment with Dr Behera is very difficult. It can take weeks if not months even as an existing patient. We were concerned with the failure of our IUI's since there was no change in protocol, and still it took us 2 weeks to get on a "waiting list" that was almost 2 months out
We paid about $600 per IUI not including medication [at Bloom Reproductive Institute]...Most concerns took several calls in order to get a call back. How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Through the course of my treatment, I only saw the doctor a few times. She built a relationship in those few visits and instilled a lot of confidence. I trusted her 100% and didn't question anything that was suggested even when we were failing. Ultimately though, I think she told us what we needed to hear instead of being straightforward with facts.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Separate the connection you make with Dr. Behera and don't let it cloud your process. Ask lots of questions especially when things are not going positively. Know that she is very busy and will not be the one performing most of the procedures.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera was very caring and friendly. She really showed that she cared and developed a relationship with my spouse and me.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
I had unexplained infertility after she performed a Myomectomy. We proceeded to do 2 IUIs with climid and 2 with climid and menopur.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
In person, the nursing staff was wonderful. They were compassionate, friendly and built a connection. Their follow through after the fact needs a lot of improvement. They don't always call back when they say they will. It's very hard to get ahold of anyone and it can take several days to get a call back.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
I visited the Scottsdale location. It is modern and clean. The staff in person is very friendly and show they care. The wait time is very minimal. When calling you can not reach an actual person, you have to leave a voicemail even to schedule an appointment. It's odd to not ever be able to reach a live person.. It took over a month to get a call back to make my initial appointment. When calling with questions or concerns, it was difficult to get a call back eve though the VM said calls are returned within 1 business day. Most concerns took several calls in order to get a call back. Getting an appointment with Dr Behera is very difficult. It can take weeks if not months even as an existing patient. We were concerned with the failure of our IUI's since there was no change in protocol, and still it took us 2 weeks to get on a "waiting list" that was almost 2 months out...but the minute I said we wanted to do IVF I received a call back the same day offering an appointment with Behera the very next day. While they were friendly, we paid for Behera's expertise but didn't get it. Looking back on appointments we often proceeded with "close enough" or "good enough" analysis from the PA's. "good enough" does not result in successful results.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Millie Behera is the kindest doctor I have ever known to this day. She exudes love and compassion every time we see her, and she is full of hugs. She has a way of sharing information, whether good or bad, that's comforting and supportive. The atmosphere in the building is mirrored after this attitude that she creates. It is apparent that she loves her work and she loves people and wants to do anything in her power to help build families.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
My one piece of advice for a future patient of Millie Behera's would be to not be afraid to be honest with her about the emotional challenges in this journey or to cry around her because she is the most loving human being and will support you through it all!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
When we first entered Dr. Behera's office, we had already been on a long road finding out my husband had a zero sperm count after cycles of me taking Clomid under a regular OBGYN. We were anxious about getting pregnant and praying simply for some hope that it was possible. Millie listened, validated the emotional struggle we had faced, provided support and answers, and gave us each the warmest hug at the end. We felt refreshed in our journey and ready to pursue our goals! She and her staff were there every step of the way to answer questions and provide emotional support and lots of hugs! We underwent more testing and eventually I underwent three rounds of IUI using a sperm donor, and became pregnant! This pregnancy ended in our daughter passing away after being born prematurely due to an undiagnosed blood clotting disorder I never knew I had. Dr. Behera was extremely supportive when we we told her about this diagnosis, and she encouraged us that there was another option if and when we were ready since I could not carry again - gestational surrogacy. Once we were emotionally ready to take our dreams on again, we met with Dr. Behera who again provided so much love and support in addition to answering our questions and allaying our fears. Dr. Behera and her team worked with us through every single step of gestational surrogacy - from the IVF process to evaluation of surrogates to locating attorneys to the birth. We found a gestational carrier on our own and chose to do everything with their surrogacy coordinator who went above and beyond for us. Each step in the surrogacy journey it's own hurdle to cross and Dr. Behera and her team were with us providing support, encouragement, and answers every step of the way. We now have a beautiful, healthy, almost 2-year-old daughter as a result of the dedication and love they provided to our family for so many years as we tried to build a family. We look forward to adding a sibling to our family by working with Dr. Behera and her team again.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
By the time I came to Dr. Behera's office, we knew that my husband did not have sperm. Therefore, it was decided that the first line of treatment we would try would be IUI with a sperm donor. She explained sperm banks in detail and gave us information on how to decide who we might be comfortable choosing as a donor. She already had established relationships with several reputable sperm banks and was very comfortable relaying her knowledge in this area. During the 3 cycles of IUI, I remember taking Femara for days 3-7 of my cycle, an ovulation injection that was timed with my cycle, and progesterone daily following ovulation until my pregnancy tests. We tried this the first two times with the first donor and chose a different donor the third round, and I became pregnant that round. For the second pregnancy with Dr. Behera's office, I underwent IVF to retrieve eggs. I had to take creams, pills, and injectable medications throughout the cycle to get my body ready for the retrieval. I was able to retrieve several eggs, and after PGS, there were 6 healthy embryos! My gestational carrier had to take several medications, creams, pills and injectables throughout her cycle to get her body ready to support the embryo and to keep it growing until it could grow on it's own without the medication support. We were both given very specific calendars by Dr. Behera and her team to help us to know what to take on which days, and this was invaluable!
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara)
Tamara was present for all of our ultrasounds and nursing visits. She always asked how we were doing and how we were coping, acknowledged the challenge in the infertility journey, and provided hugs and emotional support and encouragement to us. We will never forget her role in either of our pregnancies!

The front office staff is friendly and always greets upon arrival. The phlebotomists and nursing staff always make conversation and provide support. And there is always an answer to every question. They are all positive, supportive, and loving, and seem to love what they do.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
The costs for both IUI and IVF were extremely reasonable compared to other clinics when we price-compared. Dr. Behera also offers a scholarship for one family once a quarter for patients in greatest need.
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
Our doctor recommended transferring 1-2 embryos given the quality of the embryos and the use of the gestational carrier. We chose to transfer 2. 1 embryo survived, and for that reason, we are thrilled we did not have to undergo another cycle to try with the 2nd embryo! We also would have been happy with twins, had that happened.

I wanted medicated cycles walking through the door [with Dr. Behera]. I was on Clomid initially until it thinned my lining then I went to letrozole. I also used ovidrel to help release all mature eggs. And when I wanted more than one egg to mature we added menopur...I had control over my treatment. She doesn’t want a high risk pregnancy so she would’ve freaked had I had several eggs mature. But I only had 3...She wants what you want and will even listen and answer any questions you have without making you feel like you don’t know or stupid for asking.
Everyone is triggered at 36 hrs before IUI [at Bloom Reproductive Institute], and when I wanted to try a cycle that I triggered at 24 hrs instead no one objected. I had control over my treatment...Strengths are they return your calls, communication is exceptional and empathy is beyond over the top! I don’t have any weakness to report but I guess one would be they are not in a rush to bill you. The bill comes when it comes. I like to pay well before the bill gets here

Costs for me were great because my insurance was awesome. Ultrasounds were billed at $275 and I would pay $12. Office visit billed at $90 and generally I wouldn’t pay for any of that. Blood draws ranged from $75-95 depending on what they were testing and IUI was fairly cheap for me that I don’t want to post to mislead anyone whose ins didn’t cover like mine

How was your experience with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Woodford has a lot of experience. I had a ton of questions at the initial consult and she answered all of them for over an hour at the end of her day. She was thorough and specific without letting me get overly emotional, she stuck with me on what she felt she could and couldn't do. She recommended 3 more IUI's since we previously had a chemical pregnancy on one of our previous 3 at another clinic. When I explained that I was ready for a more aggressive strategy to do IVF, she explained what the next steps would be. I feel she got our medication protocol right the 1st round (we retrieved 16 eggs,15 mature). She took into account our medical history, age, etc. and then monitored me along the way to alter the dosage as necessary. Both my HSG test and my egg retrieval were great. I thought I would feel pain from these and I didn't have any pain the next day. I was scared to go under anesthesia and she held my hand until I was out, then she came by my bed when I woke up after to tell us we got great numbers from the retrieval. When we had our consult on the embryos, she reviewed in detail her thoughts of what happened (we went from 16 retrieved, to 12 fertilized, to 2 embryos at end Day 7). We lost 10 from day 3-7 and she went through what bad embryo quality tells us. I feel that she gave us very honest advice and support on what to do next. We waited a cycle to give us time to try improving embryo quality, we will try another retrieval soon with an increased medication dosage.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Do not let your emotional state get in the way of hearing what advice Dr. Woodford can give you. She is more scientific in her delivery of advice but I found that I could get straight, direct answers from her which helped us make a confident decision. She is very intelligent and cares about her field and patients.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Woodford was thorough during our consultation. She explained in detail what our options were and straight forward about what our expectations could be. When I went in for my retrieval, I was emotional about being under anesthesia, Dr. Woodford held my hand until I was out. I had an HSG and a retrieval done with Dr. Woodford and both I felt little to no pain. I feel she understands her job very well and takes a more scientific approach to understanding your obstacles. That works great for me because I feel she cares and is honest about what to expect. From the beginning she created a medication protocol that took into account our medical information and not a standard "1st time IVF" protocol.
Describe the protocols Diane Woodford used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
We've done one IVF stimulation so far with Dr. Woodford. Due to my age (37) she started with a larger than normal Menopur and Gonal-f protocol. Day 1-6, Menopur 75iu & Gonal-f 300iu, Day 6-12 Cetrotide 25 added, Menopur increase to 150iu. Day 9 Gonal-f increase to 375iu. I had 17 & 9 follicles to start, this protocol produced 16 eggs, 15 mature, 12 fertilized, 2 embryos sent for PGS testing, 1 normal & 1 abnormal (not mosaic). I really feel she nailed the "drug cocktail" right the first time to retrieve 16 eggs.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Nicole)
Nicole is wonderful. She always returns my emails or phone calls promptly. Any questions I ask, she will find the answers from the doctor. She gives me a phone call with test results every time. She works with you to send medications the pharmacy when you need them (I used 2-3 pharms). She has been informative, supportive and a great care coordinator. I am so grateful she is a part of the Bloom team.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
Bloom is a modern clinic with up to date equipment, they slow down in December for a week to have their lab maintenance done. The whole Bloom team really works together well to get you the information and medical assistance you need. IVF is a complicated overwhelming process and they really make it easier here. They are coordinated and caring. I felt I could get help from anyone I spoke with when I was there (even if that wasn't their direct job, they would find someone to answer my question right away). I felt very supported there and that I could go through this very difficult process successfully.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute.
Full IVF (stimulation & transfer cycle) w/o medication was $13,900 + $1,800 PGS embryo biopsy. PGS testing at offsite facility $350 per embryo or $1600 for up to 8 embryos. Medications $3,695. Everything else they billed medically and I paid my insurance co-pay or deductible. This saved me $200 per consult, $270 per ultrasound, $50-75 per blood test.
Describe Diane Woodford's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
We discussed single vs multiple embryo transfer. Dr. Woodford highly recommends a single transfer of a normal embryo due to the high risk of twins. However she would transfer up to 2 if we decided to due to my age.

We did one IUI, 2 back to back egg retrievals (she [Dr. Behera] adjusted my meds for the second one in hopes of getting more eggs). We did PGS testing and had 3 normal embryos. We transferred 2 embryos, and did intrilipids and got one healthy baby girl!...She was ok with putting in 2 embryos because of how she rated them and the fact that we were ok with twins. She assessed our situation based on us, not on a blanket philosophy.
She [nurse at Bloom Reproductive Institute] took time to email me personally about questions I had and always knew my stats and remembered where I was in the process. Very nice, gave helpful answers and information and was compassionate...$13,900 for IVF...$1,500 for IUI...The staff is very compassionate and thorough. The only weakness I see is that Dr. Behera is very busy/hard to get in with and has many patients going through cycles, but even so, we never felt like just a number. The staff that does the blood draws, the testing, and prepares you for the procedure is also very warm, welcoming and calming. Our questions were always answered. IVF is an emotional process and I feel that there is extra care taken at Bloom so handle situations delicately, professionally and with compassion.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera was throughout, professional and so kind. I would recommend anyone needing fertility or reproductive health services to her. We conceived a baby girl after 2 back to back egg retrievals (to bank embryos for future babies). She was gentle, calm and had great energy in all of our interactions with her.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Other than be prepared to love her, I would just say to be patient with the process because it sometimes can take longer than you want it to. The best things come to those who wait! (not necessarily to do with Dr. Behera though)
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera is incredibly knowledgeable but also has the best bedside manner. I felt like she really understood me and cared about my outcome. By the time I was done with my treatments, I truly felt that she was a part of the family.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
$13,900 for IVF $1,500 for IUI PGS Genetic Testing was $1,800 (I think??)
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
She was ok with putting in 2 embryos because of how she rated them and the fact that we were ok with twins. She assessed our situation based on us, not on a blanket philosophy.

Dr. Behera was, realistic, but very positive. She also recommended supplements and procedures that were suspected or proven to help that my peers with failed cycles didn't have (huge list of supplements 3 months prior to retrieval, testosterone gel, HSG, hysteroscopy, trial transfer, steroids to suppress immune system, embryo glue, etc.). The only thing she wasn't familiar with was N-Acetyl Cysteine for loss prevention, but she was fine with me taking it. We researched what she recommended. We didn't want to waste time or risk miscarriage and went along with everything that was recommended.
I had to call my coordinator [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] for updates on blood work results if I didn't hear from her...IVF (retrieval) package $10900...The competence of Dr. Behera and NP Tamara are Bloom's main strengths. Not getting a live person when you call or not getting responses quickly are its main weaknesses. I would absolutely recommend Bloom to anyone...staff are very compassionate and considerate.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
This was the second clinic we visited. The first, Boston IVF, was very negative about my AMA and DOR. What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Be patient with the staff and advocate for yourself. They're human and it's risky for you to rely on them solely for tracking your timeline and getting feedback on adjustments to protocol. You may have to call and ask questions or ask for updates. Just accept this and breathe.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera and staff are very compassionate and considerate.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute.
I needed to stay on top of my timeline and protocol, but they were supportive.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
I sought out a reputable female practitioner. The competence of Dr. Behera and NP Tamara are Bloom's main strengths. Not getting a live person when you call or not getting responses quickly are its main weaknesses. I would absolutely recommend Bloom to anyone. After reading many clinic reviews I doubt the responsiveness is any better anywhere else.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
IVF (retrieval) package $10900 FET package $3900 Hysteroscopy and trial transfer with endometrial disruption/scratch $950 PGS $1800 for handling Embryo glue $588 Embryo storage $350-500
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
She left this up to us and didn't recommend multiples. We knew we didn't want multiples so we went with eSET.

My first IVF cycle [with Dr. Millie Bhera] was an antagonist cycle and revealed poor egg quality. Out of 12 eggs only 4 were mature. Only 1 made it to PGS and came back abnormal. I was 42 at the time. Dr Behera increased doses and added HGH the second cycle. Out of 13 eggs, 11 were mature! 3 made it to PGS that time. 2 were abnormal and 1 is a low level mosaic. We are currently on a third cycle similar to the second round and hoping for a normal. We will transfer any normals we might get one at a time followed by any low level mosaics.
Everyone [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] is caring and really partners with the patients. Sometimes it is difficult to reach someone by phone when you are new or before you reach IVF, like during IUIs. Asking a lot of questions and making sure that you’re in the loop is important in the earlier stages... Tamara is so amazing! She is such an awesome provider and shares the same compassionate care Dr Behera has.

Dr Behera is such a kind-hearted person and her compassion really shines through. She is honest and partners with you to reach your goals, which become her goals too! She has such a loving, caring, and nurturing bedside manner.

Don’t be afraid to speak up if something seems off or not on track.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
IUIs are around $1200 if I recall correctly. IVF packages are around $14,000, which includes labs, ultrasounds, retrieval, ICSI, a lot of options, and transfer. Additional services are available. Meds are separate.
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
Dr Behera will transfer multiples but with my history, she is opting to transfer 1 normal at a time or 2 mosaics at a time. I have another friend that is younger and she will transfer two normals for her. She really does what is best on a case by case basis.

Dr B [Behera] is insanely sweet. I do wish we could see her more often than just retrieval and consult.... Dr B is very genuine and concerned with your progress and mental status (given the difficulty of all this). I had severe OHSS after retrieval and ended up needing to be seen on her days off and she would come in and do whatever was needed.... My retrieval cycle included menopur, follistim, ganirelix and my trigger was Lupron. Lupron was used because I was high risk for OHSS.
Two different nurses [Bloom Repro Inst] provide care, just depending on who is available. I see them for all my ultrasounds. I really love both of them, they’re thorough in explanations and never make me feel rushed or bad for asking questions.... Strengths: wonderful staff. All caring and genuine and remember you. Weakness: they can run late. You don’t get to see Dr B very often.... Bloom does not batch their retrievals and transfers.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr B is insanely sweet. I do wish we could see her more often than just retrieval and consult. We haven’t yet reached transfer but I do believe she wants the absolute best for each patient. I have had a lot of setbacks in my time at Bloom, and I now feel that Dr B knows my situation very well and could make plans for my success really knowing who I was.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Understand you won’t get to see her very often.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr B is very genuine and concerned with your progress and mental status (given the difficulty of all this). I had severe OHSS after retrieval and ended up needing to be seen on her days off and she would come in and do whatever was needed.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
My retrieval cycle included menopur, follistim, ganirelix and my trigger was Lupron. Lupron was used because I was high risk for OHSS. It did not perform as expected so last minute we added 5000 pregnyl. Egg retrieval was stopped early because eggs weren’t ready. Took the other 5000 pregnyl so had severe OHSS complete with two fluid drains and a hospital stay. Dr B has quite a intricate transfer protocol but I can’t speak to it yet.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
Two different nurses provide care, just depending on who is available. I see them for all my ultrasounds. I really love both of them, they’re thorough in explanations and never make me feel rushed or bad for asking questions.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
Strengths: wonderful staff. All caring and genuine and remember you. Weakness: they can run late. You don’t get to see Dr B very often. General: it’s a great place. I understand that there are less expensive options in the valley but Bloom does not batch their retrievals and transfers. I like that I’m not a number but they base my care on me.

Dr Woodford definitely knows what’s she is doing! She is very knowledgeable about treatments and personalized them for her patients. She is also kind and funny which goes a long way when you are in the midst of infertility and doing treatments!... We would do a baseline ultrasound somewhere between CD’s 1-3. Once we were cleared, I would start taking oral femara in CD’s 3-7. I would the. Go in for another ultrasound to see that my eggs responded to the medication.
They [Bloom Reproductive Institute] are SO fast! They get you in for appointments so quickly and are still so thorough! I loved everything about them! The only thing that was a little difficult was getting someone on the phone when I would call.... I can’t say enough good things about Tamara! She did my ultrasound and my first IUI! She was so sweet, gentle, compassionate and kind! She made mme feel special and cared for!

How was your experience with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr Woodford definitely knows what’s she is doing! She is very knowledgeable about treatments and personalized them for her patients. She is also kind and funny which goes a long way when you are in the midst of infertility and doing treatments!
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Go see her! Seriously, you’ll love her, you’ll love the staff, you’ll love heir office, prices and just the whole experience!!
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Our consultation was amazing! She was thorough and treated us so well! She was willing to work with our timeline for treatment since we wanted to start ASAP since we were in town from NV.
Describe the protocols Diane Woodford used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
We would do a baseline ultrasound somewhere between CD’s 1-3. Once we were cleared, I would start taking oral femara in CD’s 3-7. I would the. Go in for another ultrasound to see that my eggs responded to the medication. Once that was confirmed, I was instructed to do my trigger Shot (ovidrel) at home that night at a specific time. I was also scheduled for my IUI 48 hours later. On the day of the IUI, my husband gave his sample in the office. It was processed/washed and we returned 2 hours later for the actual IUI. Once the IUI was done, I was told to lay still for 10-15 minutes and then we were done. I was started on vaginal progesterone cream th day after my IUI. I had a blood progesterone test a week after my IUI and a boood pregnancy test 2 weeks after my IUI. Both IUI’s resulted in a negative result :(
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara)
I can’t say enough good things about Tamara! She did my ultrasound and my first IUI! She was so sweet, gentle, compassionate and kind! She made mme feel special and cared for! She was always so encouraging and supportive! I can’t say enough good things about her!!
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
They are SO fast! They get you in for appointments so quickly and are still so thorough! I loved everything about them! The only thing that was a little difficult was getting someone on the phone when I would call. I would always have to leave a message and they would call me back-which was fine but it’s hard to wait when you’re doing fertility treatments!
Describe the costs associated with your care under Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute.
Our IUI was 1170.00 with the ultrasounds. We paid additional money for the medications and trigger shot.

She [Dr. Behera] always had a calming presence that gave me hope. Even though we haven’t been successful, in each cycle we’ve learned something and made strides towards becoming pregnant. She always was upfront with me about her expectations and how the cycle had went and was very proactive about treatment options.... In my latest FET, we did a protocol to treat autoimmune disease and MTHFR mutation.
I think it can be hard to get in touch with someone unless you’re doing an IVF cycle, as you’d then have an IVF coordinator who’s very available. However, everyone at the clinic [Bloom Reproductive Inst] is very competent and caring, and I’ve found that if you really want to talk to someone, you can get their attention.... you see the nurse and staff much more than the doctor.

She allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed to feel comfortable with whatever next steps.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
I don’t know that I have advice specifically for a patient of Dr. Behera’s, but I would say not to waste too much time on a given course that’s not effective.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
She always made sure to console me and ensure that I felt comfortable.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
In my latest FET, we did a protocol to treat autoimmune disease and MTHFR mutation. We did many forms of estrogen and progesterone, as well as baby aspirin, lovenox, and lipids infusions.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara)
Tamara was always very compassionate and really seemed as though she wanted it to work for us. She cheered with our triumphs and mourned our defeats, all while being very competent.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
Most of my treatment was covered under insurance, but the out of pocket treatments were expensive. The lipid infusions were weekly at $450.
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
We did both, and the approach was primarily the same.

Dr. Behera is the most positive Dr and always makes us feel like our dreams of parenthood will come true...When we left our consult, my husband said to me, “This is the first time I feel like we WILL be parents”...Behera will find what makes sense for your body and your treatment. No two patients are given the same plan because she treats us as individuals...She said I have a high reserve, but maybe the eggs aren’t the healthiest. So I’m taking 27 vitamins a day for 2 cycles to see if that helps. The way she explains everything is very helpful. She told us it’s not time to give up yet.
My IVF coordinator [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] was amazing. She was so prompt at calling me with any news. She would also answer my emails within 20 minuets. I was blown away! She gave me her direct line and always answered as soon as I called. She made me feel like family...There are coloring pages in the waiting room and the front desk ladies are so kind. The nurse who did all my follicle checks was amazing. She was always smiling and friendly and explained everything to us 100% The billing staff was amazing, too! We knew exactly what we were expected to pay and when!

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Infertility sucks. Dr. Behera was always full of so much positivity, especially when we were at our saddest points and had no hope left. When we left our consult, my husband said to me, “This is the first time I feel like we WILL be parents” She will walk you through it all and give you the hope you have lost along the way
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Things aren’t always perfect, and don’t go as planned, but Behera will find what makes sense for your body and your treatment. No two patients are given the same plan because she treats us as individuals
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
My husband and I were always greeted by name when we arrived at the office. Dr. Behera is the most positive Dr and always makes us feel like our dreams of parenthood will come true. Her staff is always kind and will explain every step with us. We are never rushed
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
I have a very high AMH. I was on low dosage for stims and reacted favorably. We had 17 eggs retrieved! However, only 3 made it to blasts. And after genetic testing, we were left with none. So we had to start at square one. She said I have a high reserve, but maybe the eggs aren’t the healthiest. So I’m taking 27 vitamins a day for 2 cycles to see if that helps. The way she explains everything is very helpful. She told us it’s not time to give up yet.

Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
I honestly have nothing but wonderful things to say about this clinic. The first Reproductive encronoligist we went to was awful and Bloom made us forget about that experience. Bloom Reproductive is always so bright and sunny inside. There are coloring pages in the waiting room and the front desk ladies are so kind. The nurse who did all my follicle checks was amazing. She was always smiling and friendly and explained everything to us 100% The billing staff was amazing, too! We knew exactly what we were expected to pay and when!
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
Fortunately our insurance has a 10k lifetime max for infertility. Everything was billed to our insurance. For our first cycle, we payed 7k out of pocket, but that was for genetic testing and medications. For our second cycle, we were allowed to get our meds from Europe, so we have only spent 2k so far.

Dr. Behera was excellent. I always felt in good hands and that I was getting expert treatment and the most advanced options possible. She was caring and I felt like she was in it with us. I wish we were able to spend more time with her, but I always felt like she was doing the right thing from behind the scenes after our first meeting.
Kim Anderson was fantastic. She is a DNP [at Bloom Reproductive]. The care coordinator and blood drawing staff could use some help. The first coordinator I had was an absolute nightmare, the second was much better. Expect that your blood draws will be from people that just started. Nearly every week there was a new nursing assistant that had just learned to draw blood.... The coordinators and nursing assistants can be a bit challenging, but you have to get through it. Stay on top of your own treatment and don't be afraid to call in and get the answer you need. There is a 24 hour nurse line if you need it.

I wish we were able to spend more time with her, but I always felt like she was doing the right thing from behind the scenes after our first meeting.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Expect that she will be frank, and that more than likely you are going to end up spending a lot of money. I don't think that is specific to Dr. Behera, but to the infertility process in general. That said, I was thankful that she was as directive as she was. My previous Dr. was not that way, I felt like she knew what we should do and was confident. Even though it was going to be costly it felt like the right thing.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera has excellent bedside manner. She was straight forward, but very caring with her answers to our questions and her diagnosis.

I did two cycles. They includes one up cycle and one down cycle. I took growth hormone in one of the cycles.

Dr. Behera was warm, inviting, and compassionate. As one who has had children of her own using ART, she understands and empathizes with her patients...She gave us confidence & hope. Dr. Behera is extremely positive. She encouraged our feedback, and it was obvious she listened closely to our concerns.
The biggest weakness at Bloom is related to volume of patients, and availability of nursing staff. Administrative duties do not get treated with as much importance as I would have hoped, likely as a result of increasing patient quantity...The nurses appeared overwhelmed at times. There were a few administrative & communication errors as a result. However, they all treated us with positivity and encouragement.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera' warmth & compassion made us feel welcome in her office. She gave us confidence & hope. Dr. Behera is extremely positive. She encouraged our feedback, and it was obvious she listened closely to our concerns.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
It's a busy clinic, but the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There are some days you may feel a little overlooked due to patient volume. However, I was always responded to, even if it required more effort on my end. Continue to ask as many questions as possible, follow up frequently, and you will be well taken care of.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera was warm, inviting, and compassionate. As one who has had children of her own using ART, she understands and empathizes with her patients.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
We did 1 FET cycle that ended in early miscarriage. Currently underway with cycle #2. I'm adding acupuncture to this 2nd round, in hopes of increasing our chance of success. Meds: Lupron & PIO injections; Estradiol patches, progesterone & estrogen cream, GCFS wash.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
The nurses appeared overwhelmed at times. There were a few administrative & communication errors as a result. However, they all treated us with positivity and encouragement.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
This clinic has had great reviews and great results from other patients. My experience so far has been pleasant, although we haven't yet conceived; we started cycle #2 with optimism. Dr. Behera and her staff are warm, inviting, and encouraging throughout the whole process. That is, by far, their greatest strength. The biggest weakness at Bloom is related to volume of patients, and availability of nursing staff. Administrative duties do not get treated with as much importance as I would have hoped, likely as a result of increasing patient quantity.

She [Dr. Behera] recognized my previous issue of OHSS from my first IVF cycle with another doctor and had me start and continue at a lower dosage of medication to prevent it from happening again. She saw I had a high prolactin level, began treating it, but also sent me for an MRI which helped diagnose me with a benign tumor on my pituitary gland. She also had me take CoQ10 and baby aspirin during my IVF cycle and now our current FET cycle, which we had never even heard of as something I should have taken. I was told to eat a lot of protein and drink lot of Gatorade for hydration on top of water. I became pregnant for the first time after TTC for 5 1/2 years. Unfortunately, our baby had a chromosomal anomaly and we lost her at nearly 10 weeks, but even that experience was handled amazingly. I was able to go through it naturally and lay our baby to rest at home.
Their technologies [Bloom Reproductive Institute] are advanced. They participate in clinical studies that help make treatments affordable. Currently, they have acupuncture available in house. They also accept applications for grants to provide treatments at low to no cost for their patients. The clinic is clean, warm and inviting for all...These people [nurses] are the sweetest ever! They all welcome you with a hug and a smile, giving you time and space in the event of a loss. They were and still are our personal cheer section. We love them!...As a teacher, I can't leave during the day, so they worked with me to allow me to head over after work. Wait time was minimal for the most part.

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera is THE BEST OF THE BEST! She listens to her patients, is caring, compassionate, and passionate about helping her patients become parents. She keeps us informed of everything necessary and is always available to answer our questions. You truly feel like you are part of a family/partner in your care, instead of a patient.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Get your medical records and make an appointment to see her. We wish we would have come to her much sooner.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera listened to all of my concerns. Her treatment prevented a repeat issue of OHSS during our IVF treatment, which had occured with another Dr. during our first ever IVF treatment. They were just as excited as we were when we became pregnant, and were just as upset when we found out our baby had Turner Syndrome, having a 99% chance of miscarriage. When I had bleeding, instead of directing me to a closer Dr., they made time for us to come in and check on our baby. They took ultasounds once a week for 4 weeks. When our baby passed, they were gentle and caring. They were just as devastated as we were. When I was in shock and couldn't believe we had lost her, they let me come in the next day to check...even during the following 2 weeks as I went through my miscarriage naturally. They answered my texts in the middle of the night when I miscarried at home, after midnight, to answer my questions and put me at ease. We had the choice to keep our baby and bury her at home with us. They are extremely encouraging several months later as we are getting ready for our 1st FET with them. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and truly loving!
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
We qualified for a clinical study which helped us afford our IVF cycle at a cost which was substantially less than typical. She recognized my previous issue of OHSS from my first IVF cycle with another doctor and had me start and continue at a lower dosage of medication to prevent it from happening again. She saw I had a high prolactin level, began treating it, but also sent me for an MRI which helped diagnose me with a benign tumor on my pituitary gland. I was able to go through it naturally and lay our baby to rest at home.

Dr.Behera was great at explaining our options, listening to what we wanted to accomplish and helping us get there without any pressure. She made us feel like we could do this together. She was honest about the odds and the risks. However, our treatment resulted in triplets and I don't ever recall that being discussed clearly. We did go over the odds being very slim for multiples, I just never thought high order multiples were a real possibility.
The office staff [at Bloom] were great, it was a wait for my first evaluation but then they were very hands on, responding to calls and results fast, the office was very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. They do your blood work, ultasounds, IUI all in the clinic. The billing staff reviewed my benefits and costs right there for us so we could make an informed decision about the plan going forward.

We did go over the odds being very slim for multiples, I just never thought high order multiples were a real possibility. With that said we are very happy to have our three healthy babies.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr.Behera and her staff took the time to answer our questions and valued our time as well
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
We had the option to do just clomid 10 mg and try and time our sex or do clomid and IUI. Dr. Behera felt since my husband's sperm count was good and nothing was ever found with my fertility issues besides mild endometriosis, I was most likely not ovulating every month. We felt like we had be trying to time sex with ovulation for 2 years and were ready to try IUI and not waste another cycle
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara Evans)
Tamara and the nursing staff were wonderful, very patent with us, explaining and answering questions. During the IUI procedure she was very proficient but also helped make us comfortable and at ease. When we thought we were having twins she took the time to review what would happen next and be supportive of our initial shock.

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
My visit and ultrasounds were covered by my insurance. We paid $550 for the IUI. And I think like $50 for the clomid from a pharmacy and another $100 for the estrogen cream at an apothacary

Dr. Behera listens, never rushes me, hugs me when I'm sad or upset, tailors my treatment plan to me and genuinely shows she cares about ME. I was crying prior my egg retrieval...Dr. B held my hand and wipes away my tears until I was sedated... I have seen Dr B in person 3x now. Both Elizabeth and Dr. B are compassionate, caring and very knowledgable. Even though my eggs are not cooperating and I have not been able to sustain a pregnancy I do noy blame either provider...my body and eggs are to blame. I know that I am in the right place with these providers and would never consider .ovimg to another clinic...
Weaknesses [of BLOOM Reproductive Institute]: communication and responses from business office and IVF Nurses is spotty. When I met 1 of the IVF nurses, however, on the day of my retrieval she was very kind and answered all of my questions. She respnded quickly yo my needs post-retrieval with nausea meds, pain meds, warm blankets, etc...Strengths: NP and Dr. B are ah-mazing. I have no complaints about them what-so-ever...

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
I go to the sattelite clinic in Gilbert. I mainly see Elizabeth, NP and she closely communicates with Dr B and keeps me updated every step of the way. I have seen Dr B in person 3x now. Both Elizabeth and Dr. B are compassionate, caring and very knowledgable. Even though my eggs are not cooperating and I have not been able to sustain a pregnancy I do noy blame either provider...my body and eggs are to blame. What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
They will tailor the plan to you and your needs. You will never feel like a number.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Elizabeth Shrader NP has held my hand every step of the way. She has personalized my treatment plan to me. She responds to my emails promply and answers all of my questions. Dr Behera listens, never rushes me, hugs me when Im sad or upset, tailors my treatment plan to me and genuinly shows she cares about ME. I was crying prior my egg retrieval...Dr. B held my hand and wipes away my tears until I was sedated.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
IUI #1 resulted in a missed abortion. There was a heartbeat, but we lost the baby. I was terrfied of miscarrying again. I was given the option of another IUI or IVF. We chose IVF because my AMH was low and I wanted to improve the odds of not miscarrying again, wanted to be able to do PGS testing to ensure no chromosomal abnormalities, and was hoping to freeze embryos gor future pregnancies. IVF round 1 was cancelled because I ovulated prematurly. IVF round 2 I had 8 follicles, 3 eggs were extracted. ICSI was performed. 1 embryo split into 2 but didnt do anything beyond that. The other 2 never fertilized. I do noy blame my providers for any of this. They have been up front with me about success rates, what to expect for my body, and how to proceed.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
The MA Cheryl at the Gilbert clinic is amazing! She took care of everything I asked for help with. She is very sweet and compassionate. I havr had trouble getting reponses from the IVF Nurses and feel a disconnect from them being at the sattelite clinic instead of the big clinic in Scottsdale. I made the NP aware and she has chosen to do most of the communication with me directly to alleviate the gaps.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
Strengths: NP and Dr. B are ah-mazing. I have no complaints about them what-so-ever. They communicate well, are brilliant, tailor everything to my needs and body, and are just overall wonderful people. The MA Cheryl is just as amazing! Weaknesses: communication and responses from business office and IVF Nurses is spotty. When I met 1 of the IVF nurses, however, on the day of my retrieval she was very kind and answered all of my questions. She respnded quickly yo my needs post-retrieval with nausea meds, pain meds, warm blankets, etc.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
IUI my insurance covered after I met my deductible. IVF was $13,900, PGS $1800 (plus fee to genetic company), EEVA $599, plus cost of meds. Transfer is $3,900...but we have not made it to this step. We are in the process of considering egg donor which is $14,500 for 8 eggs or $12,500 for 6 eggs plus $3900 for transfer

I love Dr. Behera and trust her ability to get me pregnant. Her bedside manner is unlike any I've ever seen and she's always willing to answer any questions I have...Dr. Behera and her entire staff are all fabulous. At my initial consult I brought a pregnant friend (I'm single) who was a past patient of hers (who went to a different clinic for reasons unrelated to Dr. Behera's care). At my follow up with Dr. Behera over two months later she asked me how my friend was doing by name. That's just one example of how they make you feel like you're family...
The staff [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] is all friendly, helpful and VERY competent. The entire staff is very organized and in all cases next steps are provided before you could even need to ask...

I love Dr. Behera and trust her ability to get me pregnant. Her bedside manner is unlike any I've ever seen and she's always willing to answer any questions I have.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
It can be a wait to get on her calendar. Typically when she tells her staff to schedule a follow up around X date you can add 2-3 weeks before the staff finds an appointment slot for you.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Behera and her entire staff are all fabulous. At my initial consult I brought a pregnant friend (I'm single) who was a past patient of hers (who went to a different clinic for reasons unrelated to Dr. Behera's care). Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
I'm single, attempting to have a chip on my own using frozen donor sperm. She did blood work and HSG and I think and SHG to make sure all was normal. Once the results were in she gave me the choice of starting with a natural cycle or clomid, talking me through the risks of clomid. She was understanding and supportive of my choice to start my first cycle with clomid and a trigger shot. In her office the IUI is performed by one of her NUrse Practitioners. On day 3 and 10 they do an ultrasound to first confirm there are no cysts and then check readiness size & number. Clomid was given days 3-7 (50mg the first cycle, 100mg the second). I triggered with Ovidrel and IUI was exactly 36 hours later. After IUI cream progesterone was used vaginally with a blood check on day 6 to check progesterone. I'm still in the two week wait of my 2nd IUI.
Describe your experience with the nursing staff.
The staff is all friendly, helpful and VERY competent. The entire staff is very organized and in all cases next steps are provided before you could even need to ask.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
If my second cycle fails I will have questions about medicine protocols. I've heard from peers that there are alternatives to clomid with lower risk of multiples but better egg quality. I didn't know to ask about them before and am not sure if those are options for me. Every RE is trying to make their own recipe for success so maybe Dr. Behera believes clomid is crucial in that recipe, but I just want to know if there are other options.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
I have very good insurance so can't really speak to this.

Dr. Bahera really cares about safety of her patient and safety of pregnancy and baby so she takes a more careful approach. I think 2 embryos is the most she will transfer for this reason. Also during IUI’s if ever over stimulated with multiple follicles she would cancel for that month. I really value her staying strong to these numbers. Multiples pose higher risk to mother and babies. Not to mention what it takes to care for multiples.
My IVF nurse assigned to me [at Bloom Reproductive] was a breath of fresh air. She was patient with me. Answered all my questions to the best of her ability and if she didn’t have an answer she would get one for me. Riley always got back to me in a timely manner. She was compassionate and knowledgeable.... Office is clean and in good condition. Overall I would say the office runs smoothly. Employees always looked and talked professionally and they all seem happy at their job. Friendly faces with enthusiasm to be working for a great cause!

How was your experience with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Bahera is knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle, kind, smart, and great communicator. She gave me a sense of ease during my treatment. She was the doctor I needed during a very difficult time in my life.
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Trust Dr. Bahera and her staff to help formulate a plan that works best for you and your family.
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Bahera always gave me a sense of peace while in her care. I went through 5 unsuccessful IUI’s with Dr. Bahera and her office. I was beginning to lose hope of ever being able to have my own child. Dr. Bahera always gave me a sense of hope and a sense of calmness. She held my hand on multiple occasions. I never told her what a dark place our struggles with conceiving had put me in. It’s like she knew just what I needed. Compassion, along with her expertise. I trusted Dr. Bahera 💯! With God and the help of Dr. Behera, Tamera and Riley we have a beautiful baby girl! We are getting ready to to do another fresh embryo transfer and their is no one else I would want to do it with!! I can say with confidence and ease that Dr. Bahera and her staff is worth putting your trust in!
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
I don’t remember many specifics of my treatment plans. We did 5 cycles of IUI using Clomid and femora. Progesterone and estrogen suppositories along with estrogen patches. We did trigger shots prior to issemination. During our IVF cycle we used above creams, patches, daily progesterone injections, daily aspirin, BID COQ10, daily steroids. I’m forgetting a lot!

Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
If I remember correctly IUI cycle was around $2,000 plus medications and IVF was around $13,500 plus medications.
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
Dr. Bahera really cares about safety of her patient and safety of pregnancy and baby so she takes a more careful approach. I think 2 embryos is the most she will transfer for this reason. [Dr. Behera] was wonderful. She was so so passionate. She listened but was realistic with us. She always made us feel well informed and heard. She explained everything in detail and simply just made us feel good.... Treatment strategies: We did an egg retrieval cycle. I had to have the procedure to check for polops prior. We did a fresh transfer which resulted in a 7 week miscarriage. Then we did a frozen embryo cycle with a donor egg and my last frozen embryo.
The front desk lady, Ashley was kind and discrete. The strengths of the whole clinic were the kindness of the whole staff [Bloom Reproductive Inst], the knowledge very person had, and the quick response to my questions. The weaknesses would be that they didn’t have an acupuncturist on staff. I needed to go to another offi e for that service.... They were nothing but incredible. From the nurses who took blood every other day all the way up To Tamara. Everyone was caring and compassionate. They knew me by name when I arrived and were always willing to help.

The staff was incredible. They spent quite a bit of face to face time answering questions and guiding us through how to use the medications. They were always available by phone or email. My appointments were scheduled at times that were good for me. They were always warm, kind, and understanding.
Describe the protocols Millie Behera used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
Treatment strategies: We did an egg retrieval cycle. I had to have the procedure to check for polops prior. We did a fresh transfer which resulted in a 7 week miscarriage. Then we did a frozen embryo cycle with a donor egg and my last frozen embryo. Protocols: I’m thinking this is referring to the medicine schedules. I had a chart that told me when to take what. I remember there were quite a few pills, baby aspirin, vitamins, Lupron, Gonal, Menopur, etc. we did a Trigger shot too for the initial cycle. Rationale: we skipped IUI because of my previous miscarriages and my age. We tried to get healthy eggs throufh the egg retrieval process. We froze three embryos. We ended up having one frozen embryo and 2 donor embryos transferred on my last attempt. We went bold. I actually had four babies, but two were in the same sac and around 8 weeks, there were no longer heart beats. We have twins now.
Describe your experience with your nurse at Bloom Repr Institute. (Assigned nurse: Tamara )
They were nothing but incredible. From the nurses who took blood every other day all the way up To Tamara. Everyone was caring and compassionate. They knew me by name when I arrived and were always willing to help.
Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
The front desk lady, Ashley was kind and discrete. The strengths of the whole clinic were the kindness of the whole staff, the knowledge very person had, and the quick response to my questions. The weaknesses would be that they didn’t have an acupuncturist on staff. I needed to go to another offi e for that service.
Describe the costs associated with your care under Millie Behera at Bloom Repr Institute.
I don’t specifically remember.
Describe Millie Behera's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
We transferred two on the first attempt and I wAs pregnant with one baby biut miscarried. On the second attempt, we transferred 3 to be bold. It was our last shot.

our doctor [Dr. Woodford] has very strong preferences regarding eSET and given we did not meet her criteria for multiple embryo transfer, it was not really an option for us. After being explained to the risks involved we ultimately found ourselves in agreement...is very compassionate and always starts and ends each appointment asking us how we are feeling about cycles and plans rather than assuming we are always on board with everything.
[Bloom Reproductive Institute is] Very organized but occasionally medical staff needs reminders to follow up with non-essential information. We found communicating directly with our assigned coordinator via email is the easiest way to send and receive information in a timely fashion. Calling and leaving voicemails was rarely effective, and we would often be sent to a generic medical staff voicemail instead of straight to our coordinator.

How was your experience with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Dr. Woodford is very compassionate and knowledgeable. We never feel disconnected or like she is not invested in our success. She engages us in conversation about our treatments and is frequently asking us how we feel things are going. She also regularly encourages us to do our own research and to never be shy about challenging information with information. Conversations are also very productive because we are not taking marching orders, we are working together with her to find the common ground where everyone is comfortable with “the plan”
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If she doesn’t immediately have the answer she will find it!

We did three rounds of IUI [with Dr. Woodford] that were unsuccessful in causing pregnancy. We then moved to IVF. We have done two egg retrieval’s with PGS testing. We currently have one frozen normal embryo and are doing another egg retrieval in order to bank more eggs...obviously cares and takes time to talk personally with her patients... is super friendly and very knowledgeable. She is very good at communicating what is going on in your body during treatments. I trust her because she is honest about expectations. Because I go to the satellite office in Gilbert, I don’t see her as often as I would like. She is very reachable by email and telephone though.
The staff [at Bloom Reproductive Institute] are all very nice and caring. You will get to know the Gilbert staff very well if you go there. Appointments are quick. She [Dr. Millie Behera] is very caring and understanding & explains treatment plan in depth. She individually tailors a plan based on each person's situation. She let me set my own pace, but gave recommendations if I asked (ex: do IUI again or go to IVF)...I would want a new patient to know IVF takes much longer than you expect. I started back in November and probably wont transfer until April...try and get on her schedule ASAP.

Dr. Behera and every member of her staff make you feel very cares for and treat you will compassion.... I love the clinic in general. Sometimes it is a little hard to get through, but I ALWAYS get a call back pretty quickly.
I am so happy with every one of the nurses in this office [Bloom Reproductive Institute[. I mostly have appointments with Lisa or Tamara. They are both very kind and knowledgeable. They always listen to my concerns and take them seriously. I recently asked to try a new medication and asked about having surgery and Tamara made me feel like she really cared about me and my concerns.

Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable. She truly exceeded my expectations! As a nurse, I've worked with good, bad and indifferent physicians. Dr. Behera is not only knowledgeable about infertility, she has outstanding bedside manor. It's hard to find a physician that has both qualities!... Go in with an open mind! Be willing to hear your options. Be flexible, not all treatment plans work for every patient! Dr. Behera is really good about making individual treatment plans for each patient

our doctor [Dr. Diane Woodford] has been wonderful...she has been in communication with us very upfront about what to expect...if we don’t achieve those expectations within a certain timeframe and that will adjust expectations and protocol if necessary. She is always open to having a conversation Or appointment if you just want to check in with her if you feel like you’re not getting what you need from the clinic and I absolutely love that that they will make a time to see the patients just to have a conversation to both get on the same page and all that stuff goes along way for me
The staff at the location [of Bloom Reproductive Institute] I go to is wonderful. Blanca treats everyone like family and remembers you and your life and is just incredibly Sweet and caring. Kim is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and also to the point which I really appreciate...it is all vary based on your individual needs, history, age, health...absolutely take everything into consideration and doEverything they can to help people grow their families and I just admire the work that is being done at this clinic and although they’re a little things that I would love to fix overall it’s where I know I need to

How was your experience with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
As stated previously it rubbed me the wrong way when certain things were discussed at my consultation that were not followed through with later visits and I had to call and bug and email reminders about certain things. Beyond that and being able to get past that because it was more clerical than anything our doctor has been wonderful she has been in communication with us very upfront about what to expect said an outline for us if we don’t achieve those expectations within a certain timeframe and that will adjust expectations and protocol if necessary. She is always open to having a conversation Or appointment if you just want to check in with her if you feel like you’re not getting what you need from the clinic and I absolutely love that that they will make a time to see the patients just to have a conversation to both get on the same page and all that stuff goes along way for me
What's one piece of advice would you give a prospective patient of Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
I would be very specific about expectations write down things about medications frequency of appointment types of medications amounts of medications that you speak with her about so when talking with the nurses the correct stuff gets ordered for you
During treatment, were you treated like a number or a human with Diane Woodford at Bloom Repr Institute?
Diane is really good with you in person when she meets you, but she does tend to forget things that were discussed prior which is a little bit of a letdown. I know they see so many patients but I want to be secure in my choice of a RE and know you’ll remember my situation to go they this journey as planned and not me having to battle with NPs and front desks associates about what you said or promised me that wasn’t documented.
Describe the protocols Diane Woodford used in your cycles at Bloom Repr Institute and their degree of success.
I was pretty lucky and had great success with this doctor for my first our UI. I had previously done five are you are is with another doctor out of state that were unsuccessful. My protocol for my positive pregnancy resulting in a single tan wise letrozole cycle days three through seven then on the eighth cycle day we did 75 units of Follistim, my follicles reacted amazing, went In for a scan they were measuring where they needed to be we triggered the next night had her IUI and two weeks later found out we were successful and in July 2018 welcomed our baby boy. Fast forward to June 2019 we did one unsuccessful are you are you in the protocol for that was cycle days three through 72 pills of lectures all and then I did seven days of 75 units of Menopur injections, my follicles were slow to react then finally were measuring correctly and we triggered with ovidrel and ended up being a failed cycle. I am currently on CD 6 and taking letrazole until CD7, CD8 I will start menopur and inject 75units for 7 days and hopefully that’s what I need! For all cycles I was on 2000mg of metformin for PCOS, 1000unots of vitamin D, and a prenatal.

Describe your experience with Bloom Repr Institute.
The overall clinic is incredibly busy because there is another doctor that has been on TV and just in the public eye if you will for a very long time so she is in high demand which can sometimes make it difficult to get a hold of people come in for appointments. The strengths of this clinic is their approach know two people have the same protocol it is all vary based on your individual needs, history, age, health day absolutely take everything into consideration and doEverything they can to help people grow their families and I just admire the work that is being done at this clinic and although they’re a little things that I would love to fix overall it’s where I know I need to be

Describe Diane Woodford's approach to eSET (elective single embryo transfer) vs. multiple embryo transfer at Bloom Repr Institute.
N/A for my situation - but I do know her approach is a single embryo transfer unless deemed medically necessary based on age, egg reserve and multiple other factors to do MET.
